Amazon Astro

IV Studio had the opportunity to create several informative videos for the home robot, Amazon Astro. Using a style guide that Amazon provided, I illustrated the following style frames. The goal was to make sure Astro was front and center while having fun scenes in the background.

Amazon Echo Frames

IV Studio was approached by Amazon to update the illustrations and animations for their Amazon Echo glasses. My task was to update the illustrations by applying the new brand guide that Amazon provided. I had to create character concept art, prop and animal designs, color keys, and style frames for the videos.

Visual Development

The new brand illustration system is more simple, universal, and uses a grid system to get that crisp look. Originally we wanted to add a little bit of texture and lighting to make these videos more unique, but ended up strictly using their design system.
